The Invisible Payment Problem
The Self-Service Pay Point has been brilliant for unmanned payments — stick a QR code on your gate, and customers pay themselves. But there was one gap: you had no idea when someone paid unless you checked the dashboard.
If you're out mowing pitches, fixing a pontoon, or having lunch, payments could come in silently. You'd only find out hours later when you logged in.

How Instant Alerts Work
Now, every time a customer completes a Pay Point payment, two things happen simultaneously:
1. In-App Bell Notification
The bell icon in your dashboard updates in real-time. You'll see a notification card showing:
- 💰 "Pay Point: £127.50 received for BK00247"
- Timestamp
- One-click link to the payments page
If you have the dashboard open on a tablet behind the bar or in the office, you'll see payments pop up as they happen — no refresh needed.
2. Email Alert to All Staff
Every staff member with access to your site receives an email within seconds:
- Subject: 💰 Payment received — £127.50 via Pay Point
- Body: Amount, booking reference, customer email, and timestamp
- Clean, mobile-friendly format that's easy to read on a phone
