The Old Way vs The PayCamp Way
Most SaaS platforms ask you to trust them with your data. "We promise not to look." But promises aren't enforceable. Platform admins can typically see everything — customer names, financial figures, personal details. You have no way to verify they're not looking, and no control over access.
PayCamp's Privacy Shield doesn't ask you to trust us — it makes trust unnecessary. When you enable it, Row Level Security policies stop our administrator accounts querying your sensitive tables — enforced by the database itself, not by application code that could be changed. We can still support you (site layout, support tickets), but our administrator accounts cannot query your customer data, financial records or payment details. Need help with a booking issue? Grant temporary, scoped access for 24 hours. When it expires, the door locks automatically. Every access is logged in your Transparency Dashboard.
