8. PayCamp Payments (Payment Facilitation)
PayCamp also offers an optional payment facilitation service called PayCamp Payments. This enables site owners to accept card payments from their customers (guests) for bookings, invoices, and other charges.
- PayCamp Payments is a payment service, not a goods or services delivery. PayCamp facilitates the transfer of funds between the guest and the site owner.
- The site owner is responsible for delivering the booked service (mooring berth, campsite pitch, boat hire, holiday let, etc.).
- PayCamp is not a party to the contract between the guest and the site owner, and bears no responsibility for the quality, safety, or availability of the underlying service.
- Alternatively, site owners may connect their own Stripe account ("Bring Your Own Stripe") for direct payment processing without PayCamp facilitation.
