What's New
Updates and improvements to PayCamp. Newest first.
Everything here is already live on your account — there is nothing to install and no version to upgrade to. Where a change needs turning on, the entry says where to find the switch. Most of what lands here comes from an operator asking for it, so if something is missing from the product, tell us.
Switch between your sites without logging out
If your login has access to more than one site, a site picker now sits at the top of the dashboard. Choose a site and everything follows it — bookings, invoices, customers and settings — so running two marinas or a park and a boatyard no longer means two logins and two browsers.
How to use it: Look for your site name at the top of the dashboard menu. If your login only reaches one site, nothing changes and the picker stays hidden.
HireHelm is now PayCamp Hire, and Yard Manager is now PayCamp Yards
Same software, same login, same prices. The two modules now carry the PayCamp name so it is obvious they are part of one system rather than three separate products you have to join up yourself.
How to use it: Your existing links, bookmarks and booking pages are unchanged. Only the names on screen are different.
PayCamp Payments pricing is published in full
The card rate, the cap that stops a large invoice being charged a percentage that runs away with itself, the extra on international, commercial and Amex cards, and what a chargeback costs are all on the pricing page. Nothing about taking payments is quoted only on request.
How to use it: See the payments section on the pricing page. If you use your own Stripe account instead, PayCamp takes nothing from the transaction.
Add zones now opens the zone form
On the yard dashboard, the prompt to add your first zone dropped you on the settings landing page and left you to find the right screen. It now opens the form it was always meant to open.
The demo sites now say what they are
Every demonstration site carries a plain note explaining that the operator is invented and the bookings, boats and invoices are sample data, while the booking form, calendar and payment screens behind them are the real product running on a real PayCamp account.
How to use it: Open any demo from the demos page — the note sits under the gallery.
Boat-hire booking pages back online
Your public boat-hire booking page now loads your real business details, so customers can browse your fleet and book without seeing an error.
How to use it: Share your booking link — paycamp.co.uk/book/your-site — and it will show your name and contact details correctly.
A cleaner, clearer homepage
We refreshed the PayCamp homepage and trimmed clutter so it loads quicker and explains what PayCamp does more clearly.
Invoices now link to the right customer
Invoices raised from a boatyard job are now correctly tied to the customer record, so their payment history and statements stay accurate.
Security and reliability improvements
We tightened how your business data is protected behind the scenes and fixed several reliability issues. No action needed on your side.
